Terms of service

Last updated 17 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and nanou. We kept them short and readable. Please read them before you use the service.

1. The service

nanou is a personal assistant for families. You talk to it in Telegram, and it can use the services your family connects (email, calendar, documents, WhatsApp, bank and crypto accounts, and others) to help with everyday tasks. In these terms, “nanou” and “we” mean the service and the team that runs it.

nanou is in private preview. Features change, and some described on our home page are still being rolled out. We'll tell you before we remove something you pay for.

2. Accounts and invites

3. The assistant acts for you, with your approval

4. AI can be wrong

nanou uses AI models that can misunderstand, miss things or state wrong facts with confidence. When it acts as your coach, accountant, tax advisor, medical guide or anything else, it gives general help, not professional advice. Check important answers yourself, and ask a qualified professional for medical, legal, tax or financial decisions. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

5. Fair use

Please don't use nanou to:

We may pause an assistant that is being misused, and we'll tell you why.

6. Plans and billing

7. Your data

Your family's data stays yours. We only use it to run the service for you, as explained in the privacy policy, and we never sell it or use it to train AI models.

8. Closing your account

You can close your account at any time by cancelling your plan and writing to us. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, after warning you when we reasonably can. Once a household is closed, we delete its assistant and data as described in the privacy policy.

9. Responsibility

We work hard to keep nanou available and safe, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted or make a mistake. We aren't responsible for losses caused by actions you approved, by services you connect, or by events outside our reasonable control. Otherwise, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. None of this limits rights you have under consumer protection law, or our liability for gross negligence, intent, or harm to life and health.

10. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we update the date at the top and tell account holders about important changes by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of France. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim there. Please write to us first. Most things can be fixed quickly. EU consumers can also use a free consumer mediation service.
